Rich History
Built in 1902 to function as a stable house to the castle next door, Juliano’s started out with humble beginnings. Transformed into a beautiful Victorian home by Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Murray in 1930, the property was home to a number of prominent Billings families over the years.
The building continued to thrive as it transformed once more, this time into the restaurant we know and love today. Purchased by Chef Carl Kurokawa, Dave McCurdy and Tim Keating in 1995, Juliano’s became an award-winning location both locally and nationally. If you’re lucky, you might even come across Ernest E. Murray’s ghost on your visit…
Rich Flavor
When a Hawaiian chef makes his home in Montana, the result is nothing short of delicious. Focusing on seasonal and regional dishes, Juliano’s uses the freshest products for the best result. While reluctant to categorize his food, Carl describes his cuisine as his mom’s food with a European twist.
With a menu changing monthly, there’s always something new to try, and while seafood is flown in from Hawaii twice a week, most of the beef, lamb, and produce are locally sourced from Montana farmers and ranchers.
A Unique Dining Experience
Juliano’s is a piece of Montana history that has served a decadent, flavorful Americana menu with both European and Asian influence. Opened in 1995, Juliano’s has long been a staple to the city of Billings for anything from casual business lunches to a special romantic dinner.
No matter what your occasion, you can always count on a memorable experience and exciting cuisine.
